THROWN Signs With IRON FIST PRODUCTIONS

October 21, 2006

THROWN, the Swedish band featuring Pete Flesh (FLESH, DECEIVER, ex-MAZE OF TORMENT) on vocals, guitars and drums, and Crille Lundin (DECEIVER) on bass, has inked a deal with Iron Fist Productions. The group's debut album, "The Suicidal Kings Occult", is tentatively scheduled for release late January/early February.

"First we had some plans to release the album on our own, but with no experience on this matter we felt that a co-opperation with a label like Iron Fist Productions would be better," the band writes in a statement. "It will first be released on CD, but hopefully we also can see a vinyl version [before] next summer. We will pobably co-operate on this one as well, so it's all a matter of money and how good the CD sells."

"The Suicidal Kings Occult" was recorded between August 30 and September 3 at the Abyss studio with producer Tommy Tägtgren. The layout for the CD will be designed by Erik Sahlström (MAZE OF TORMENT, ex-SERPENT OBSCENE, ex-DECEIVER).

"The Suicidal Kings Occult" track listing:

01. I Am all Dead
02. The Suicidal Kings Occult
03. Going Down
04. The Cure to Salvation
05. Silent Chorus
06. 10 Years of Nothing
07. Once More I Lose all in the Mist
08. Jack the Tripper

Four songs from the album can be heard on the band's MySpace page.
